We had a great time with this Segment with Ana Orsini! New Show Posted – Episode 390 – “Radio Daze”

For this Weeks TechtalkRadio Show, Andy, Justin and Slick talk about the latest in Tech but also look back on the Door Dash Commercial which ran during the Super Bowl Game. The guys talk about the big winner in San Antonio Texas and just how many cars the winner got. The guys wonder if there is a Cash Option similar to some TV Game Shows. Justin shares with us about his visit to The Price is Right while on Leave in the Navy while based in San Diego. He was pretty sure he was going to be a contestant and tells us what happened. One of Andy’s favorite gameshows is Family Feud and talks about the time Tyler “Ninja” Blevins was on with his family. With the popularity of Ninja, the guys talk about how a Streaming Gamer can connect with viewers and become a big draw. Justin talks about Dr. Disrespect and Ryastream for that same connection. Slick, Andy and Justin have all worked in Radio On-Air and talk about that connection with Listeners and Share a few stories from Radio Days. Andy tells us about a station called WOMP-FM that he had worked on with Westwood One while Slick shares a story about KIKX-FM and a problem they ran into and what was said on the Radio,

Slick shares a Listener Question from Dean in Oro Valley regarding Digital Duplicates. Dean wants to start freeing up Hard Drive Space and is looking for a program to help delete duplicates. Justin shares a solution Dupeguru and BeyondCompare from Scooter Software. Andy has looked at Roxio NXT 9 Pro for this task which has a powerful duplicate file finder in the software. Regardless, the guys recommend having a backup of the backup and store your backups offsite. Justin tells us about storing in a safety deposit box, as a note to those that have not discussed the digital like with Family, some points to consider in this discussion.

Rumblings in the Business World about Walmart looking to purchase Vizio and the effect on Roku, what would happen to the Onn TV’s which use the Roku interface? The guys talk about Refresh of TV’s and why having a higher refresh rate for action, Andy doesn’t think it would apply to him since he watches so much Hallmark with very little action except maybe a slap in the face. Andy talks about the MyArcade Atari Handheld he featured on TV but finds the AARP website has Atari video games available to play at https://games.aarp.org Justin tells us about The Gaming Granny from Chile and how she has captured the hearts of so many that are playing games. New 13News KMSB Segment – An Early Look at the Asus Zenbook Duo 2024

We are excited to Share this new laptop product from Asus, and the company has tied it in nicely with Wednesday’s Big Day – Valentines perfect for Duos – Two Screens in One! Featured is the Asus ZenBook DUO 2024.

It looks like a Mild Mannered 14 inch Screened Laptop. Even when you open the lid for the ZenBook Duo you would look at it and think of the nice screen size 14′ and large touchpad area. “Under the Hood “ of the ZenBook Duo, users will appreciate the power of an Intel® Core™ Ultra 7 or 9 Evo processor up to 5.1 Ghz, and 16 or 32 GB LPDDR5x memory depending on the configuration, plus up to a 2 TB M.2 SSD for your storage needs.

The ZenBook can be powered by the 75W Battery and Charged with the 65W Charger. When you need it though, this transforms, it turns into the world’s first ultraportable laptop that you will find equipped with not one but two 14-inch 3K 120 Hz OLED touchscreens. Turning the ZenBook Duo into a dual screen laptop which could be used in four different modes, Dual screen, desktop, laptop, and sharing. The Screens are bright and you can still attach a Bluetooth mouse if you don’t want to use the trackpad.

It can be purchased with Windows 11 Home or Pro and feature a USB 3.2 Port and 2 thunderbolt/USB-C ports, 1 HDMI Out and an Audio Jack. It also features Harmon Cardon speakers on board along with a camera for this Zoom Calls or for creators. Speaking of Creators, A Asus Stylus included can allow users to draw make notes directly on the screen with certain apps and it also comes with it’s own backpack! We are getting an Early look as the ZenBook DUO will go on sale on Valentine’s Day on ASUS.com and Amazon. Valentine’s Day was chosen as it has two screens, and the 14th is a “day for two” AKA “DUO.”

New Show Posted! Episode 389 – Bigger Than a Breadbox

For this Weeks TechtalkRadio Show, Andy, Justin, Matt, and Shawn are on board talking about the latest in Tech. Shawn opens the show asking Justin about him driving his Tesla wearing the Apple Vision Pro. There have been videos posted on social media of some users doing just that which Matt describes it as Darwinism at its finest. The discussion turns to the Apple Vision Pro and while Justin isn’t a fan, Matt tells us about a video demonstrating the Vision Pro which had him reverse his original thinking of not wanting one to having to want one! Micheal Himelstein of Himels Tech on the subreddit R/Apple has the Video as well as YouTube! Justin mentions how a story this week adds to th predictions of the Simpsons and the future. Snopes broke down the story Andy ask Justin and Matt to take a trip to the Apple Store and try it out! Matt tells us why we won’t see it in the Apple Store inside Best Buy. Justin asks a loaded question talking about Neurallink https://neuralink.com/, if you were a candidate, would you get the implant.

Shawn reaches out to a family friend, who has Cerebral Palsy, about the idea of a brain implant to offer different abilities and shares his personal feelings. Justin tells us why he would want to engage in this opportunity. Listener Loretta asks for some thoughts on getting a new printer. Matt recommends the Brother Laser Printers HL-L2350DW while if there is a need for Color, Andy likes the Epson Tank printers. Justin has an HP Color Laser and tells a story of dealing with the toner.

Shawn tells us about a new sports partnership between ESPN, Fox and Warner Brothers Discovery. While talking about the Big Game over the Weekend, Shawn shares the numbers of Cameras involved after getting guesses from everybody. Dale needs some help with a question about cleaning his TV, Matt shares what not to do and how to make it easy. Andy likes the product called Whoosh which he found at Office Depot. Thinking about buying a new TV? Shawn and Justin share some terminology and what it means. Rodney sends us a note, he wants to get a new laptop that is priced around 250 however was concerned with the lack of storage and Ram, the guys share some thoughts on this.
