New Show Posted – EPISODE 323 – Water Cooling and Scrubbing your Tech?

In this week’s show, Justin, Shawn, and Andy circle back around to the latest numbers of people playing Farming Simulator 2022 vs Battlefield 2042. Numbers in the past week showed more playing the Farming Simulator over the long awaited Battlefield. Farming Simulator is still not without its minor issues and Justin talks about a fix for a Frame Rate Cap. Justin and Shawn talk about the Steam Platform and why it’s a great way to purchase and store your games. The biggest seller for Black Friday according to reports has been the Microsoft XBox Series S. Justin tells us about the Difference between the Series S and the Series X. Wyze has introduced the Wyze Lamp Socket which Shawn has purchased, it is an easy way to Power the Wyze outdoor camera via USB. Shawn opens it during the show and Justin and Andy both want to get one. What’s Even more amazing is the price. While some consumers are concerned with the Privacy issues of an outdoor camera, the security overrules those concerns.

Justin talks about the continuing problem with Package Thefts and now that the Holidays are here, more people could fall victim to this. Ideas are shared as to ways to reduce the problem. While we love Security Cameras, these don’t help deter the crime. The guys share thoughts about the NextDoor App and how it is not as impressive as to when it launched. DJI has an issue with the Google Pixel 6 and Shawn shares the info about this. Asus has launched the PureGo PD100 which is a Food safety Detection device for your Fruits and Vegatables. Andy explains what this is all about. Andy is continuing the build on a New PC and has a question for Justin regarding Water Cooling. Justin talks about AIO (All In One) Water Cooling.

For our Product of the Week, Shawn tells us about Harvest Moon, a Nintendo64 and wants to play it with the Switch and finds some Wireless Controllers however due to the Bots the guys talk about how hard it can be to find and then purchase items!

New Show Added – Episode 316 Smart Phone Photography and VR Games

Andy refers to a CNET article on helping to compare the iPhone and up to the iPhone 13. Justin shares some possible information on the upcoming Pixel smartphone. Justin shares why he loves the Pixel line. Amazon makes some big announcements of new products. The guys talk about the new Echo Show 15 and the Ring Always Home Drone which can fly around the interior of the home. Shawn tells us about Hey Disney devices for Disney Properties in the Hotel Rooms.

We welcome Kristin Grey to the Show who will conducting a workshop on Smart Phone Photography at SilverSprings in Green Valley. We cover some of the advancements in the Smart Phones to enable different types of photos and the many tools available on the devices.

Shawn tells us about Phasmaphobia for VR which is an outstanding Jump Scare Game. Shawn remembers Doom and Hexen while Justin tells us about Five Nights of Freddy’s. Andy tells us about Resident Evil 4 VR that is coming out the 22nd of this month. In this TechtalkRadio Show, Justin and Andy try to change up the opening we’ve been using since 1996 and it’s an absolute disaster. The guys ask for listeners to send audio/voice of their favorite Technology so we can use it during the show opener. The guys talk about Email hacks and now some are using phone hacks to spoof phone numbers. In this new day an age, answering the phone has become a hassle not a joy. Leave a message or get blocked. Google finds a Zero Day Vulnerability and warns users to immediately update Chrome. While Andy did reinstall Google Chrome he takes a moment to discuss the steps to update Google Chrome. Justin has an Oops moment and it involves his gaming keyboard and Superglue?

With Justin’s blooper on his keyboard the guys talk about some of the great options for gaming keyboards and discuss the differences in price and quality on keyboards. The guys have been really impressed with what is available from Logitech. Logitech even makes a keyboard, the K400 Plus which can work with Smart TV’s making it easier to type in passwords for Amazon, Hulu and other streaming networks.

A new survey is out still suggesting that over 10,000 people surveyed, they still use 123456 as passwords. Some thoughts shared on this and why it should be changed right away. Justin shares the website Lastpass.com as a solution for creating good passwords.
