In this Weeks TechtalkRadio Show, Andy Taylor, Justin Lemme, and Shawn DeWeerd talk about the recent news with Samsung Televisions including The Microsoft Game Pass as an option in the Samsung Gaming Hub, this would allow Game Pass games on the Big Screen without an Xbox Console. At this week’s Microsoft Showcase, Microsoft has not only added the Top Gun Maverick addition to Flight Simulator but also the Pelican Ship from Halo. The guys talk about Top Gun Maverick the movie and how they experienced the film with Dolby vs IMAX and what a fun experience it is. Andy didn’t see Top Gun or Jurassic but did see The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent and loved it! The Quarry is a game just released which is the follow-up to the game Until Dawn. Another Game is getting turned into a movie, Duke Nukem and the guys wonder who would play Duke and what about Jon St, John as the Voice? Justin tells us about a game called Star Citizen and why this is a huge game in an enormous online world.

Friend of the Show Scott Kelby visits the show to tell us about an upcoming Virtual Online Conference on How to Make Money with Photography. In the Discussion which has Andy bringing up all the aspects that won’t be covered it does remind listeners of the hours upon hours of content available at KelbyOne which cover the many questions that Andy has brought up. Scott is a lot of fun and one of the most knowledgeable guests on the Art and Business of Photography and honored to be able to speak with him. We also get to ask Scott about the future of photography with DSLR Cameras and what could eventually take the place of those cameras, his answer makes absolute sense.

Justin shares the news about Goldeneye finally getting an announcement of an upcoming release. One of the Most Awaited games! Shawn shares some of the famous graduates of Notre Dame like Tim Brown, Joe Theismann and of course Rudy Ruettiger. The Web unveiled also Actor George Wendt, Nicholas Sparks, Phil Donahue, Regis Philbin and one of Andy’s favorites Richard Riehle from the Movie Office Space and Deuce Bigalow. Andy talks about some of the famous graduates of University of Arizona. Shawn and Justin have begun to investigate Amateur Radio and share info on the Baofeng UV-5R unit and fun aspects of the HAM Radio World. Andy tells us about the announcement from DJI with the Mini 3 Pro. The crew talks about the fine technology points of the new drone and pricing which is very reasonable. Episode #338 – Never Bet Against a Sneeze!

In this week’s show, Justin and Andy kick off the show with a discussion of what has been happening lately with Crypto. Visiting the show is an outspoken member of the popular Facebook group, Crypto Coin Trader, Oniel. Oniel gives us a rundown of what is trending with digital currency and its recent dip in value. Oniel talks about the reasons to question everything and why sometimes in the crypto space this is not popular. When it comes to Bitcoin itself, Oniel doesn’t feel this should be the focus on digital with so many good alt choices available. Oniel also says the Federal Reserve needs to stop increasing the basis point. Be sure to check out the Facebook group, Crypto Coin Trader.

Andy has finally finished his build and the process for a fresh install on a new system and reinstalling is never fun. Andy did find a program he found useful including Acronis Disk Director and will also be installing Wirecast so we can start Video Casting the Show. With Shawn having his son in his arms during the show, the guys talk about the rights of a child when it comes to parents sharing photos and video of their child. It brings about a good time to think about how much we share online of our children and our lives and guidelines parents need to set for other family members in what could be shared.

Andy runs out of USB Ports and purchases two options, a USB 3.0 HUB from Sabrent and an internal 3.2Gps PCI Express Card. Justin’s water heater in his house goes on the fritz and he is forced to buy a new one. He looks at a Whole Home Hot Water Recirculation unit and chooses the Navien which runs around 14k! New Episode – #337 When The Hard Drives Clicking

In this Weeks TechtalkRadio Show, Andy Taylor, Justin Lemme, and Shawn DeWeerd talk about some of the changes they have gone through in the past few weeks. Justin has a new job and Shawn is a new father. The guys talk about social media and how being new parents has not changed Shawn’s mind about getting onto Facebook to share photos. Shawn gives us a look at the Infant Optics baby monitor while Justin shares a great tip about extending the battery life. Andy jumps on to the new App BeReal and talks about what it is and how it is different from other Social Photo Sharing Apps. Justin tells us about his disappointment of a Kickstarter he got involved in 2019. The product, a Eve 4k Monitor was supposed to ship in 2020 however with the Pandemic this caused delays. Justin tells us about the bad experience and not getting product. Justin talks about how using the American Express Card could save him in this instance in getting a refund. Shawn gets his hands on a Graphics Card and shares the story of finding a RTX3070 from a buddy for only $350. Moving from a GT1080 he talks about the performance increases he was able to experience.


Andy finally sets up his new build and runs into a bit of problem. His Wireless Mouse has been freezing up. Andy determined after moving from the Cooler Master Haf932 Case to the smaller Corsair case, the interference with the Aura Components and smaller case needed the Wireless Dongle plugged to the back (On the Board) of the Case. Justin tells us about his new job and why it’s so much fun. His Office overlooks one of the nation’s largest water park, Water World. Justin tells us about how he has integrated Malwarebytes into the system and why he’s a proponent of the service, Shawn share how he has paid for the premium version and been very happy with it.
