Justins see temperatures below Zero while Shawn in South Bend experiences even colder temps. Andy and Slick in Tucson must make a point that it was 79 the previous day. Andy forgets that Matt has told the crew about the Oodie while Shawn is wearing his Harry Potter Oodie and shares what the Oodie is all about while Matt shares a tip to make it even more comfortable.

Listener Dave from Palm Springs wants to know about Smart Cameras in the Car when it is parked. While Justin’s solution is to buy a Tesla, Matt tells us about the Ring Car Cam announced last year however Andy tells us this is hard to purchase, unavailable and rough reviews on the Amazon Site. Andy tells us about Owlcam and how this is a great solution yet pricey.

Matt tells us about the story of a man who noticed his LG Washing Machine has transferred over 3GB of Data on his connected device. This brings up the security aspects of devices. Andy has an LG refrigerator that also offers connectivity yet found it was only to tell him when to replace the filter so he didn’t connected. Justin shares the benefits of PiHole. Matt explains the Botnet and how this Washing Machine was compromised. Andy shares a study by the Consumer Technology Association which has what the crew feels is a Low Number of connected devices in the home. Apple Vision Pro will be doing demos at Apple Stores on how it works for a limited time. Listener Dorothy asks if Travel Web Services are ways to save money and better than a Travel Agency. Justin shares it is about Data and how the only sites can use that in marketing. Matt tells us about shopping incognito mode if doing this online however it’s recommended to go through a travel agent.

Episode #352 – Drive Failure!
