Justin shares info about doing Wednesday Night Virtual Trivia with OBS Studio for his local Brewery, Bruz Beers. Andy talks with Scott Lien from Grandpad about the company’s solution for Senior Users and how they provide an overall solution for those wanting to stay connected.

Justin and Shawn talk about the Technology of Reporters doing live segments from their homes with the Use of Dejero Hardware. Broadway talks to us about iRacing with NASCAR and explains some of the Technology behind it. Some of the problems that can arise when installing an updated graphics card is case design and Shawn gets one that won’t fit. John says it’s time for Duct Tape and Bubble Gum to get it to stick! In this Weeks TechtalkRadio Show, Broadway, Shawn DeWeerd, Justin Lemme and Andy Taylor talk about our changing environments during the Covid 19 Pandemic. Justin has redone his Studio at Home and it’s impressive. Justins Studio

The guys talk about how they are currently working from Home. Justin has some time to reconfigure his computer and install his recently purchased RTX2080 TI Graphics Card. Justin notices though after some intense gaming with Red Dead Redemption 2, the heat factor increases rather high. Broadway shares a recommendation for helping the heat in the system flow better.

Broadway tells us about relocation to Austin Texas where he is doing the show from. The guys note the pandemic has delayed shipping from Amazon with very few items available for next day delivery.

Shawn still goes into his work during this to assist the Instructors at the University for Off Site Education. We learn a little about some of the Technology behind making this work. Streaming has been very important to Churches across the country for staying in touch with the Congregation. There have been some issues trying to get the hardware to stream the services. The Film Distribution business has been changed in light of the pandemic with Theaters upset at film companies streaming first run movies. The guys talk about backgrounds when video conferencing and some points to consider when on a conference meeting. Broadway wants to know who is on Justin’s wall in his newly located studio. New Show! 18 Wheels and A Big Rig! – RyaStream

In this Weeks TechtalkRadio, Justin Lemme and Shawn DeWeerd school Andy on the proper pronunciation of Notre Dame, not the one with the hunchback! We get the opportunity to have a great discussion with Live Streamer Ryan from RyaStream. While we have talked recently about the newly announced Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020, it is going to be just one of the many simulators on the desktops and consoles of many. Ryan specializes in American Truck Simulator and streams the simulation Live over Facebook. Ryan is an actual truck driver as his chosen profession and talks about the similarities between driving a real truck on the roads and the trucks in American Truck Simulator.

In this TechtalkRadio Show, Justin and Andy try to change up the opening we’ve been using since 1996 and it’s an absolute disaster. Google finds a Zero Day Vulnerability and warns users to immediately update Chrome. While Andy did reinstall Google Chrome he takes a moment to discuss the steps to update Google Chrome. Justin has an Oops moment and it involves his gaming keyboard and Superglue?

With Justin’s blooper on his keyboard the guys talk about some of the great options for gaming keyboards and discuss the differences in price and quality on keyboards. The guys have been really impressed with what is available from Logitech. Logitech even makes a keyboard, the K400 Plus which can work with Smart TV’s making it easier to type in passwords for Amazon, Hulu and other streaming networks.

A new survey is out still suggesting that over 10,000 people surveyed, they still use 123456 as passwords. Some thoughts shared on this and why it should be changed right away. Justin shares the website Lastpass.com as a solution for creating good passwords.
