In this Weeks Show Justin, Shawn and Andy talk about how Justin had to buy an iPad Air for a Work Project and while Shawn and Andy love products in the iPad and Mac line, he wasn’t all that jazzed to do so yet admits due to the logistics this was the only way to go. Andy talks about the iPad and how Artist can really create with the devices and shares info on Wacom and why he would love to have the Cintiq. Andy’s daughter had broken her iPad and he shares how iFixIt is a great way to go to self-repair the iPad. The guys talk about the latest from Twitter and Elon Musk. Some of the problems of Twitter are discussed by the guys while Andy shares the importance of selectivity of who you allow to follow or follow yourself. A Change in the “Blue Check Mark” system has some very upset at suddenly paying for the service for Verification. Some wonder if this could signal the end of active social media. Shawn tells us his story about leaving Facebook and why he did it.


Shawn talks about Building or Upgrading a PC and wonders if we wanted to buy a RTX4090 but shares some of the problems with melted cords on the latest video cards. The guys talk about choosing your hardware and Andy wonders if we tend to buy based on hype or higher price for systems. Andy has fallen in love with his iPhone 14 ProMax that was provided by Apple but wants to return it and buy his own but now the 14 ProMax is not available, on back order, for a couple of weeks. Andy does share a strange problem that happened with the Pro Max. The new Face ID system locked him out when he had the phone in his pocket. He got the Message iPhone Unavailable, Try again in 49 Minutes. It’s a security feature to prevent logging in if somebody else had your phone. Andy tells us about the solution which really was either to Erase the phone and start over or wait the required time. New Show! 18 Wheels and A Big Rig! – RyaStream

In this Weeks TechtalkRadio, Justin Lemme and Shawn DeWeerd school Andy on the proper pronunciation of Notre Dame, not the one with the hunchback! We get the opportunity to have a great discussion with Live Streamer Ryan from RyaStream. While we have talked recently about the newly announced Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020, it is going to be just one of the many simulators on the desktops and consoles of many. Ryan specializes in American Truck Simulator and streams the simulation Live over Facebook. Ryan is an actual truck driver as his chosen profession and talks about the similarities between driving a real truck on the roads and the trucks in American Truck Simulator.

Ryan from RyaStream not only provides a lot of fun to those watching his stream, he interacts with the visitors. What’s also impressive is the hardware in both controlling the simulations and the hardware to produce the popular stream. Ryan shares with us his progression of adding the hardware over time to get the most out of the titles. RyaStream shares some of his products he uses from Advanced Simulation Products to the El Gato Stream Deck to OBS Studio to the great controllers at Thrustmaster.
